Yicha ZHANG, 2021 laureate of the prestigious Frederick Winslow TAYLOR Medal
Only one person in the world, under the age of 35, is awarded each year, by the International Academy of Production Engineering, the Frederick Winslow TAYLOR Medal, which illustrates the exceptional merit of an original research work.
For the third time since 1958, when it was first awarded, this medal has been awarded to a person carrying out research in a French institution.
Yicha ZHANG, lecturer at the University of Technology of Belfort-Montbéliard (UTBM) is the 2021 laureate of this prestigious distinction.
He continues his research activities within the joint ICB research unit (UBFC – uB – UTBM – CNRS) on integrated design and planning for additive manufacturing and hybrid additive manufacturing processes. It teaches UTBM engineering students about additive manufacturing processes.
