Elaboration of functional nanomaterials

The skills of the department focus primarily on the synthesis of nanomaterials for various applications. These materials can be grouped into two categories:

Nanoparticles

  • Superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (SPIONs)
  • To fight against neurodegenerative diseases
  • To target extracellular vesicles
  • Micro/nano-cargo inspired by clay

Nanostructures

  • For photovoltaics
  • Nano-sources and nano-assembly for photonics and plasmonics
  • 2D nanoporous membranes for desalination
