Elaboration of functional nanomaterials
The skills of the department focus primarily on the synthesis of nanomaterials for various applications. These materials can be grouped into two categories:
Nanoparticles
- Superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (SPIONs)
- To fight against neurodegenerative diseases
- To target extracellular vesicles
- Micro/nano-cargo inspired by clay
Nanostructures
- For photovoltaics
- Nano-sources and nano-assembly for photonics and plasmonics
- 2D nanoporous membranes for desalination
