Computer and Electronic Development Center (CDIE)
The Computer and Electronic Development Center (CDIE) is intended to meet the IT and electronic needs of all users of the ICB laboratory.
The department has a mission to operate computing infrastructures: networks and associated services, data servers, information system security, fleet management, user assistance and software developments.
The electronics department exercises its skills mainly in the fields of analog and digital electronics, data acquisition systems. The service also provides prototypes of electronic cards and associated tests. It is also widely open to public and private external users. His skills in project management allow him to take on responsibilities in national projects.

Our hardware and software resources
The electronics department has a positioning and welding platform for miniature components (CMS) allowing the development of electronic cards based on microcontrollers, FPGAs and other components having packages requiring reflow soldering. It also has test and control tools.

Our achievements
- Libs laser gun: internal development for Ivea Solution. Laser electronics were industrialized and marketed under the name Easy Libs
- Complete development of electronics supplying and controlling an autonomous portable laser source
- Datalogger: autonomous land acquisition system. This system required an on-site mission for its installation at the mouth of the Crosette torrent, on the Bossons glacier (Chamonix Mont Blanc), located at an altitude of 1800m
- Creation of the Deaverde Notiphy box and user manual
