ICB post-doctoral fellow rewarded at the international AFM BioMed conference
Irma Custovic, post-doctoral researcher at the laboratoire ICB (Nanosciences department) presented the results of two separate research projects at the international conference AFM BioMed (Nagoya-Okazaki, Japan), dedicated to the applications of life sciences and nanomedicine:
- “AFM-IR nanospectroscopic mapping od DNA molecules on mica surface", a work supervised by Dr. Olivier Piétrement (CNRS),
- “The impact of transmembrane mucin and dietary tannins on the electrical properties of the pellicle of the oral mucosa studied by scanning microscopy", a work supervised by Pr. Eric Lesniewska.
The research work was rewarded with two prizes: Young Researcher Travel Award and Best poster presentation.
