OpenLabs 2023, discovering uB laboratories
This year again, the Laboratoire ICB opened its doors to the staff of the Université de Bourgogne to discover the diversity and quality of research within the university: what is happening behind our walls? What kind of research is done there?
CALHIPSO, a technological platform devoted to powder metallurgy, an emerging sector which is the subject of much research, particularly in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region.
The small group of participants was welcomed by Jean-Phillipe CORNU, professor at the University of Burgundy. They were able to discover the EQUIPEX+ CALHIPSO located at the Maison de la Métallurgie (Institut Marey), the technological platform of the ICB laboratory – equipment, resources, training, start-ups and collaborations. A 1 hour visit to better understand what is happening behind the walls of our unit.
