Après une thèse à l’Université de Bourgogne en 1984, Bruno Lavorel est recruté au CNRS comme Attaché puis Chargé de Recherches. Il soutient une Habilitation à diriger les recherches à l’Université de Bourgogne en 1992 et est promu Directeur de Recherches en 1999. Il a été responsable d’une équipe de Recherche de 1994 à 2006 et  Directeur adjoint  de la Fédération de Recherche  FR2604 de 2003 à 2011. Il a tout d’abord travaillé au développement de la spectroscopie Raman stimulé et à l’étude à haute résolution de bandes vibrationnelles de molécules et à l’effet des collisions sur les profils de raies Raman. Par la suite, Bruno Lavorel a  entamé une évolution thématique vers les phénomènes ultra-courts en champs laser intenses ( spectroscopie moléculaire résolue en temps, alignement moléculaire induit par laser, contrôle cohérent, …). Il travaille actuellement au contrôle de processus photochromiques (ANR CoCoNics) et à la génération et l’application d’impulsions intenses térahertz (programme PARI II).

[tabs] [tab title=Carrière] Après une thèse à l'Université de Bourgogne en 1984, Bruno Lavorel est recruté au CNRS comme Attaché puis Chargé de Recherches. Il soutient une Habilitation à diriger les recherches à l'Université de Bourgogne en 1992 et est promu Directeur de Recherches en 1999. Il a été responsable d'une équipe de Recherche de 1994 à 2006 et  Directeur adjoint  de la Fédération de Recherche  FR2604 de 2003 à 2011. Il a tout d'abord travaillé au développement de la spectroscopie Raman stimulé et à l'étude à haute résolution de bandes vibrationnelles de molécules et à l'effet des collisions sur les profils de raies Raman. Par la suite, Bruno Lavorel a  entamé une évolution thématique vers les phénomènes ultra-courts en champs laser intenses ( spectroscopie moléculaire résolue en temps, alignement moléculaire induit par laser, contrôle cohérent, ...). Il travaille actuellement au contrôle de processus photochromiques (ANR CoCoNics) et à la génération et l'application d'impulsions intenses térahertz (programme PARI II). [/tab] [tab title=Projets]
