Visit of the Institute of Physics at the Laboratoire ICB

The Laboratoire ICB was pleased to welcome Thierry DAUXOIS (Director of INP I CNRS) and Thérèse HUET (Deputy Scientific Director of INP I CNRS) in Dijon on Wednesday November 23, 2022.

After a presentation of the scientific strategy and the structure of the laboratory by the director of the unit Stéphane GUÉRIN, the management of the INP was able to visit the various activities carried out within our unit via our scientific departments with a focus on our technological platforms – CALHIPSO, TITAN, SMARTLIGHT and ARCEN Carnot.

This meeting was an opportunity to discuss the continuum of fundamental research carried out within the unit, but also to make links between the different applications ranging from industry (photonics, metallurgy, industry 4.0), medicine, communications high-speed optics, information processing at a nanometric scale, energy (fuel cell) as well as quantum technologies.
