MCF-HDR Eugen CICALA (1962), PhD at the “Politehnica” University of Timisoara, Romania; post-doc at the University of Burgundy (2003); Assistant professor at the "Politehnica" University of Timisoara (1990-2012); visiting professor at the University of Burgundy (2005-2011); HDR at the University of Burgundy (2007); HDR in "Politehnica" University of Timisoara (2011). Since 2012 assistant professor at the University of Burgundy, IUT Le Creusot and ICB UMR 6303 CNRS /uB. The research activity mainly concerns the experimental modeling and optimization of manufacturing processes and assembly in general and laser power processing in particular (especially welding, cladding, cutting, assembly processes of hybrid laser-arc). Optimization of numerical models.
