Positions available in the near-field group

A  Master 2 internship is available in the group on Nonlinear Nanophotonics.

This internship may lead to a PhD grant in the NFO group since a PhD proposal in direct link with this internship has been selected as a priority topic by the ICB lab for the upcoming PhD grants interview in june 2018.

A PhD offer is available in the group.

The Near-field Optics Group at Université de Bourgogne Franche-Comté invites applications for a PhD position on integrated nonlinear photonics. Only candidates with a Master degree (or equivalent) and a strong background in nonlinear optics, nanotechnologies and/or nanophotonics should apply. The selected candidate will be invited to support his/her application by an oral presentation examined by the scientific council of the laboratory in June 2018.

The Near-Field Optics group develops researches on light matter interactions at the subwavelength scale with the ultimate goal to target applications in optoelectronics, environmental sensing and biology.

At the crossroad of electromagnetism, nanoscience and nanotechnology, the Near-Field Optics group has a broad and recognized expertize in Photonic Crystals, Metamaterials, Plasmonics and Near-field Optics. Our Scanning Near-field Optical Microscope facilities allow us to investigate the dynamics of electromagnetic fields at the core of artificial materials.
