  • Surface analysis by XPS and AES: in-situ study of surface treatments by (argon) ion bombardment or by the deposition of ultrathin metal films.

  • Variable Temperature Scanning Tunneling Microscope (Omicron NanoTechnology) mounted in an Ultra High Vacuum system (base pressure lower than 1x10-10 mbar) equipped with Low Electron Energy Diffraction technique, standard Ion Gun (EX05), gas line and evaporation source.
    STM
  • Experiments using synchrotron radiation facilities: SOLEIL (XANES, EXAFS, photoémission), ELETTRA (photoémission résonante/diffraction de photoélectrons), HASYLAB (Auger résonant), ISA (photoémission résonante).
