Carreer

Pr. Michel LOËTE (1949) – Université de Bourgogne ; PhD in physics (1976) ; delegate assistant (1976-1977) ; post-doctorant at Université Paris VI (1977-1978) ; assistant (1978) ; doctorat d’état (1984) ; assistant professor 2nd class (1986) ; assistant professor 1st class (1988) ; sabbatic year (1987–1988 : USA, URSS, Morocco, Germany) ; professor 2nd classe (1993) ; professor 1st classe (2002) ; emeritus professor (2014). Research work covering molecular spectroscopy : modelling of transition moments, calculation and analysis of absorption and Raman line intensities, application to the detection and measurement of gases in the Earth and planetary atmospheres.
