Dr Jean-Marc SIMON (1967), PhD (University Paris XI Orsay, 1997); Assistant Professor University Paris XI Orsay, 1998; Associate Professor in Physical Chemistry since 1998 at the University of Burgundy. Guest Professor 2005-2006, in the Physical Chemistry group at the University of Trondheim (Norway), 2007-2008 at the Centre of Adnaced Studies in Oslo. Research covers adsorption phenomena in porous solids and at surfaces, non-equilibrium thermodynamics, development of new tools in molecular simulations (molecular dynamics and Monte-Carlo); nanothermodymics; for applications in chemical engineering (pétroleum, nuclear industry, etc).
