Prof. Olivier FAUCHER (1962), PhD in Physics (CEA Saclay – University of Lille I, 1991), Post doctoral fellow at IESL-FORTH Institute (Greece, 1991-1993); Associate Researcher at IESL-FORTH (Greece, 1993-1994); Associate Professor at the University of Burgundy (1995-2000) and full Professor since 2001; Since 2007, leader of the Femtosecond Laser Group at the Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire Carnot de Bourgogne (ICB UMR 6303 CNRS). Research topics are related to experimental studies of atoms and molecules exposed to ultra short and intense laser pulses, aiming at controlling quantum systems with shaped laser pulses.
