The development of theoretical and computing tools for the modelling of molecular systems with high symmetry constitutes a specific know-how which is recognized by the scientific community. The present studies are concerned with the elaboration of models for the description of intra- and inter-molecular interactions, as well as of molecule-external field interactions (excited states, collisional processes, multiphoton processes). This research is linked to applications to atmospheric physics, planetary physics and laser photoexcitation. The spectrum analysis results are directly accessible through the TDS computing systems that are developed in the Laboratory.
Thanks to the arrival of new colleagues, the group themes are now extended to quantum chemisrty calculations, collisional processes and reactional dynamics.
